Measuring Metrics for Downtime, Scrap and OEE

This simple, no fuss, module allows both manual and automated performance metrics to be collected from any location in the factory. To try this for yourself simply download the trial version from here and install to any windows PC.

This metrics tool (part of the ResponseTime suite) allows you to gather all the right raw measures to instantly calculate the standard 'lean' performance measures including OEE , machine utilisation, downtime cause analysis and scrap rates.

No big system rollout or complicated PLC installation, this is ideal for locations where automation has not been possible. The operator can easily enter progress information on the shopfloor as they work, with a single touch or retrospectively at end of shift.

In addition, this module is a compatable OPC client capable of connection to your existing OPC servers or historian. This allows you to incorporate existing automation monitoring and incorporate it into the analysis reports.

Furthermore, the module can be connected to your APS (Preactor) to provide an immediate feedback of progress into the planning.

A wide range of reports and graphs are included as standard so that you and your operators can instantly see the analysis of results so far. Reports can be viewed on screen at any time or exported. Immediately you and they, have a better view of what is happening.

Where you need to collect information from many locations, the metrics can be pooled so that reports for both individual and overall viewpoints are available.

Such a simple solution to the headache of gathering measures is worth looking at for yourself. So try this out today and download the trial version from here and install to any windows PC.
