Alert Technologies specialises in factory-floor, real-time MES software for production management supporting 'Lean' practices in the small to medium sized manufacturing company. Our principal product is ResponseTime Visual Factory.

Alert Technologies was founded in 2003 on a 'SMART' award from the Department of Trade & Industry and has continued to develop on this work to create real-time monitoring systems for business data. More recently we have focused on manufacturing factory-floor solutions with the emphasis on 'Lean' techniques.

The Management Team

Kate Patterson BSc MBCS has spent over 20 years in software project management and design. She has experience of a variety of business sectors including manufacturing, accounting, local government, audience research and retail. Kate has worked in senior roles in manufacturing and retail with companies such as Marconi Defence and Somerfields. She has been the original designer behind a number of innovative creative solutions covering a wide range of languages and platforms. She is a professional member of the British Computer Society with Chartered Information Systems Practitioner status.

Dr Kevin Bossley PhD is a highly competent software consultant with over 12 years experience developing and delivering IT systems. Kevin has considerable technical expertise and has developed many diverse systems with examples such as in-situ corporate data mining, demand forecasting for logistics and real-time condition monitoring.
